Afternoon Trip to Marin Headlands

One of the great aspects of living in San Francisco is all of the wonderful sights to see and experience within a 2-hour drive.  Well, we didn't have to travel far on Saturday to see beauty...just a quick drive across the Golden Gate Bridge and we entered the beautiful Marin Headlands.  Whether you live in the Bay Area or are visiting for a few days, I highly recommend you put on your hiking shoes, bring a backpack with snacks, a good book and your camera, and head to the Marin Headlands for a day of hiking, relaxing, and great sightseeing!

Beautiful Coastline

Road leading to the trail.

The waves were a dream for surfers!
So fun to watch these peeps ride them in.
If only I was this talented!

Mother-daughter picture. :)

How gorgeous is this view?

The beachbums minus the bikinis!

Bella says, "Mom, I'm tired and tiny...please pick me up!"

How handsome is my lil' man?  Always the perfect poser!

A sight to behold....classic, rugged California coast.

Perfect view to end a perfect day.

  2. Hi Erin, love your blog! I just saw the comment you left me about the seashell picture frame. I just recently sold the blue limpet frame you are talking about so I do not have one at the moment. If you are interested I will gladly make another for you, just let me know. Have a great Wednesday!

  4. Thanks, Terrie, California is so beautiful. And of course, I love my fur babies. I enjoyed your blog...particularly the ceramic birds you made. So creative and very talented!
